
Illustrating the need for data science through everyday scenarios
Most working professionals think data science and AI aren’t relevant to their jobs. When in fact, an understanding of both is becoming indispensable, no matter your industry.
To drive people to sign up for data science courses at NUS, we needed to show that this knowledge was no longer niche, and would soon benefit people in everyday contexts. In particular, we had to highlight how data terminology is increasingly becoming a part of daily life.
The “Start Talking Data” Film Series
The campaign kicked off with two films that exaggerated this premise to comic effect in familiar situations. Aimed at working professionals and fresh graduates, these were followed by digital ads and social content.
